1. Intelligent transportation system
CTSP has made great achievements in promoting the construction of high-tech industrial settlements in the central region, and the traffic flow in and out of the park is huge. In order to reduce the traffic accident rate and waiting time, the bureau has developed an intelligent transportation system in the park, using ICT technology to integrate traffic control, mass transportation and parking lot information, and improve the convenience of employees and related industries in commuting and contacting public transportation.
CTSP Traffic Convenience Information Network can quickly find out the real-time dynamic information of road traffic conditions, buses, parking lots and so on in CTSP Park. In order to improve service quality and provide more convenient services, the bureau updated the traffic convenience information network in 2022, and the number of page views in 2023 exceeded 32,000. The shuttle bus in Huwei Park served 10,072 passengers and traveled 21,675 kilometers, which was equivalent to reducing CO2 emission by 5.7 metric tons. The shuttle bus in CTSP Park took 174,724 passengers and traveled 312,684 kilometers, which was equivalent to reducing CO2 emission by 99.6 metric tons. (Calculation method: The existing shuttle buses are all the latest sixth phase emission environmental protection standards, and it is estimated that the carbonreduction calculated by changing the shuttle bus is about 0.57 kgCO2/ person).
In order to improve the problem of collision between right-turning cars and straight-moving locomotives, the Pilot Project of Smart Road Safety System in Science Park was set up at two important intersections in Taichung Park in 2021, and the dynamic warning information is provided by sensing equipment to detect the vehicle dynamics before the possible accident, thus ffectively improving the road traffic safety in the park. The proportion of traffic accidents in the pilot area to the total intersection accidents dropped sharply from 57.14% in 2019, to 32.61% in 2022 after the system was established, and to 26.08% in 2023.
2. Industrial and commercial service facilities
CTSP has banks, convenience stores, restaurants, large conference halls, and entertainment places after work, which makes the functions of the park more convenient and complete. In order to enable the park manufacturers, visiting guests and the public to enjoy a good network environment and industrial and commercial services, the bureau continues to improve the relevant construction and services in the park, and the establishment is as follows:
